As a child, I spent time in my grandmother's kitchen, surrounded by the smell of Sunday sauce and a table full of family. Everyone talked, laughed, and reached for bread to do scarpetta, wiping the plate clean of every last bit of sauce.
She always said, “Cooking needs heart”, and through her, I learned that food is about care, connection, and bringing people together.
She passed on her recipes, but what she really gave me was a way of cooking that carries warmth and love in every dish.
